Please <strong><em>do not share <\/em><\/strong>your online banking credentials, passcodes, account numbers, token IDs, or any sensitive details. <strong>No legitimate financial institution will ever ask for this information.<\/strong> If someone does,<strong><em> end the conversation immediately<\/em><\/strong> and contact us directly at our official number: <strong>202-707-5852<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Only send money to people you know well.<\/h2>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">External Transfers &#8211; TWO Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACH Used to Send Money to\/from your <strong>LCFCU Account<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Send money to or from your LCFCU accounts to another account you own<em> (names on both accounts must match)<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Used for single or recurring transfers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LCFCU <strong>Debit Card<\/strong> Used to Send Money<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Send money by linking your LCFCU Debit Card and initiate transfers to or from other bank accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Single transfers only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to get started with External Transfers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to online or mobile banking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the <em>Transfers <\/em>menu, select <em>External Transfers<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <em>Add External Account<\/em> or <em>Add Debit Card<\/em> and enter the details<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Bank accounts require verification and transfers can take up to 3 days. Debit cards are available right away and in most cases, funds transfer the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Person to Person Transfer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Send money to someone using their <strong>cell phone number<\/strong> or <strong>email <\/strong>address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to get started with Person to Person Transfers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to online or mobile banking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the <em>Transfers <\/em>menu, select <em>External Transfers<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <em>Add a Person<\/em> and enter the details for that person<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <em>External Transfers<\/em>, select that <em>Person<\/em> and enter the details then click <em>Send<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The person will <strong>receive <\/strong>a<em> text<\/em> or an <em>email<\/em> and once they complete the information, funds will be securely transferred to that person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"You can transfer funds to another account outside LCFCU, bring money from an outside account to LCFCU, or send money to a person using online or mobile banking.
