Some days it can be hard to make ends meet.  We offer financial relief options to help members experiencing unexpected challenges like an unexpected illness, change in employment, a natural disaster or a government furlough.

Financial Relief Skip-A-Payment¹

During this time of uncertainty, we’re here to help provide some financial relief. For members impacted by a shutdown, our Financial Relief Skip-A-Payment¹ allows you to skip a monthly payment on your Credit Union auto and personal loan(s). The $25 fee per loan will be waived during a government shutdown.

Mortgage Loan products (First Mortgage, Home Equity Line of Credit and Loan/Second Trust) are NOT ELIGIBLE for Skip-A-Payment.

Furlough Relief Emergency Loan

A special Emergency Loan will be available to members in the event of a govenrment shutdown.

Additional Financial Relief Options

• Loan modifications or extensions available for mortgage and consumer loans

For members impacted by a shutdown who do not have direct deposit or an auto or personal loan, please contact us to discuss alternative financial relief options.

_{¹You must be a member in good standing, including being current on all loans with the credit union, in order to participate in the LCFCU Government Shutdown Skip-A-Payment program. Skip-A-Pay fee is waived. Please note that only Consumer Loans are eligible for the program. Mortgage Loan products (First Mortgage, Home Equity Line of Credit and Loan/Second Trust) are NOT ELIGIBLE for the program. Interest will continue to accrue on your outstanding loan balance(s), and could result in additional payments required to pay your loan in full. When payments resume, unpaid interest will be collected first and the remaining monies will be applied toward principle.}
