$90 Reasons Why You Should REFER Family and Co-workers!

During May, to celebrate our 90th anniversary, you and a family member or co-worker can each earn $45 when you refer them and they open a new Library of Congress FCU membership! $45 for you and $45 for them.

  • Apply for new membership with LCFCU, easily online with form below.
  • Rewards $45 for them & $45 for you with each new member.

Spread the word and ask them to become a member. Simply fill out the MEMBERSHIP & Services Application and in the “How did you hear about us field” you must enter code “90” plus the name, email and phone number of the referring LCFCU member. DISCLOSURES – $90 Member Referral

  1. New member must enter code 90 in “how did you hear about us field” plus the name, email and phone number of the referring LCFCU member online or in person.
  2. New member cannot be an existing member (cannot have a membership already on file in their name, open or closed).
  3. New member must open savings account with minimum balance met plus a checking account with a debit card. The card must be activated and have 10 completed debit card transactions within 30 days of activation. New accounts must be complete and funded within 30 days of applying.
  4. Reward paid within 60 days of account opening to both members when qualifications are met. Awards will be processed as dividend income. Accounts that do not meet qualifications within 60 days of opening will not earn a reward.
  5. Referring LCFCU member must have an account in good standing (with checking, no negative balances or past due loans).
  6. LCFCU membership offer is from May 1 – May 31, 2025 ONLY and we reserve the right to terminate, withdraw or change the program at any time without prior notice.
  7. LCFCU membership eligibility does not guarantee membership.
