The Library of Congress FCU Scholarship Program

We are honored to support America’s library community and the next generation of leadership.

The Application Period ended March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. The LCFCU Scholarship Committee will pick four (4) recipients to be awarded scholarships from all submissions received during the Application Period. Within six (6) weeks after the March 31, 2025 end of the Application Period, LCFCU will notify the recipients via the contact information provided on their submission, or through other contact information of record for the account. Two $2,000 Undergraduate Awards

We are proud to offer a scholarship opportunity to TWO graduating high school seniors within our credit union membership. We will award two exemplary students pursuing four-year or two-year undergraduate degrees at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school during the first year of study with $2,000 scholarships.

Two $2,000 Masters Degree Awards

We also proudly offer a scholarship opportunity to TWO Masters degree candidates within our credit union membership. We will award two exemplary students pursuing Masters degrees (for example MS, MLS, MLIS) in Library Science at an accredited college or university during the first year of study with $2,000 scholarships. Both Masters scholarships are awarded to honor the Librarian of Congress.
